profile constantly work in progress photo: collection guys Cybelle is an artist, writer, educator, communicator, sociocultural entrepreneur. ​ Author and producer of @lambedasereia , art and poetry project-manifest for a more welcoming world, with r elations truths, respect for diversity and a more organic, light and free way of existing. Lived 3 years in collective spaces between the forest and the sea of Ubatuba/S P , experiencing daily practices of sustainability, self-knowledge, natural self-care, solidarity economy, free education and permaculture. Even in the middle of the woods, one day fiber optic internet powered by solar energy arrived, so at the height of the pandemic produced video interviews on demand for startups and sociocultural projects, content for websites, blogs and social media and, of course, wrote a lot and made a lot of art with the children and teenagers of the community. Now she is living in another collective house (and cultural spot), in São Paulo city. Before 'coming out of the matrix', as people say, she worked for many years as a journalist, editor and TV reporter, presenter of webTV and institutional videos, writer, copywriter, screenwriter, marketing executive, communication manager, relations with customers, press and sponsors, content and programming manager (out-of-home media), event producer. She was also a partner and executive producer of a cultural production company (arts, photography and audiovisual). ​ She decided to be a writer at 11 years old, has been working since she was 14 (she wanted to be independent). She has a degree in journalism, a postgraduate degree in integrative health and well-being and is completing her postgraduate degree and licentiate in pedagogy for freedom. These are some of her flagships: communication, health and education. ​ Today, she continues to produce content 'inside the matrix', but bringing her perspective of truth and sustainability. the mermaid awakens Lambe da Sereia is a (inner) wind-manifest of concrete authorial feminine poetry, which flourished in March 2017 to spread words of calming, strength, culture of peace, self-love, unconditional love, compassion, diversity, creativity, good humor, conscience, respect, freedom, humanitarian sense. The expression of a speech for all ears, minds and hearts, for all people, communities and territories on the world map and neural connections. Like a scream-poem that represents and multiplies the timid, stifled, choked, silenced voices ~ for the fear of expressing oneself, of (loving), of (not) being accepted (of), of (not) being who one is. A voice that echoes in the streets and networks, crosses margins beyond margins, builds bridges between centers and peripheries, breaks down walls inside and outside us. A hug. A lap, a look that holds and says: "you are not alone". ​ images from personal archive Cybelle Young / @lambedasereia All poetry-posters are authored and diagrammed in a text editor. Stencil masks designed and cut by hand. The mermaid icon, also hand drawn, with a writing pen, is very special for the author Cybelle Young , symbol of a process of personal-professional rediscovery. The choice not to use design programs but a text editor is purposeful and adaptable to free software ~ to remember that poetry and street art can be created and produced in the simplest way possible, by anyone, with any computer, paper, pen, pencil, crayons, stylus, white glue, water, colored inks and good doses of good humor. ​ Writing is admittedly feminine in some of the poems, but from all the feedback received so far ~ in person and via the internet/social networks in Brazil and several other countries ~ what is perceived is a sensitive, supportive and loving self-identification of people from the most diverse profiles , ethnicities, ages, genders, socially accepted groups or (in) visibly rejected/excluded. ​ Another choice made consciously and carefully maintained in the more than 170 lambes-poetry is to transpose positive (albeit sometimes sad) words and feelings of love, peace, gratitude for life, compassion, union, empathy, individual and collective conscience. communication & journalism At age 11, I decided I wanted to write. And I started working early, at 14, because I wanted to be independent and learn new things. I called a store and said I wanted to work there - they put me on as a year-end extra and I ended up being hired. At 16 I introduced myself to a promotion and merchandising agency (after all, "it was about time I entered my area") and hired me as an assistant - happy to be working before going to college, visiting the creative studio whenever possible. I am and always have been a Humanities person (with a lot of affection and flirtation with Biology), of the written word, of literature, of excellence of the Portuguese Language - which, today, I would very much like to be renamed 'Língua Brasileira'. When I was 17, I joined the advertising and marketing college's night class, while working at another advertising agency. advertising as an art/text reviewer (where I entered beating several adults in the test and felt amazing...lol) - my goal was to be a copywriter. Then I went to companies (agency clients), gaining experience in the areas of marketing, communication, events. When I realized that I really liked to writereal stories about real people and events, I studied journalism and worked in the field for several years - it was where I developed the skill of the oral word and took a liking to interviewing people and speaking in public. And why do I write this here? Maybe for myself ~ to remember that my movement is and has always been in search of impeccable words, true communication and well-told stories.
